Think of it as the uvBeast that you can tuck into your back pocket. Sure there have to be some trade-offs with size, but we’ve made up for it to give you a smaller, more convenient yet same quality UV package:
(1) Low contamination filtered UV 365nm (optical output at around 450mW pure 365nm)
(2) Same UV LED (a single semi-conductor chip) as the larger V3 “Flamethrower” 365nm
(3) More convenient USB-C quick-charging on board (not to be confused with slower charging micro-USB). USB-C cable supplied
(4) US mains adapter supplied for optional mains power source
(5) All powered by a standard 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery (supplied) to give the MINI the juice it needs
WHY SETTLE FOR WEAK 365nm JUST BECAUSE IT’S SMALLER
The problem with most similar 365nm UV flashlights you’ll find is a beam that disappoints. Useless in normal light, and poor results in the dark. Most models are dogged with too much visible light contamination. We’ve simply designed those out. Sayonara. With very little visible light leak yet powerful enough UV, you can use it during the day in normal light. And in the dark it’s effective to 20-30 feet away
