Description
Inspired by old school theme paper notebooks from the 80s, the new Koala Tools Loose Leaf Notebook has some unique features that set it apart from ordinary loose leaf paper. First, we devised a ruling that is somewhere between wide ruled and college ruled, where the space between three lines is equal to one inch. Moreover, we added gaps horizontally along the blue lines to create 1/3″ segments, which are equal to the vertical distance between each of the lines. We call this INVISIGRID and it essentially creates an invisible vertical channel of negative space which can serve as a guide for creating tables, graphs, diagrams or any other rectangular configuration. This type of 1/3 inch ruling more closely resembles the standard wide-ruled format, but with the added bonus of an extra line per side. The second feature that sets the Koala Tools Loose Leaf Notebook apart is the light blue tinted paper. The soft blue hue is nearly imperceptible (unless contrasted against a stark white sheet), but adds an aesthetic touch that will surely be to the delight of many stationery aficionados. Third, we made the three holes smaller to reduce the wiggle that the sheets would have when locked into a 3 ring binder. Lastly, we put it all together into a convenient tape bound notebook, where individual sheets can be conveniently and neatly removed from the notebook if desired.
TAPE BOUND LOOSE LEAF NOTEBOOK: Standard size 8in x 10.5in sheets are tape bound into a 3 hole punched notebook with the ability to neatly remove individual sheets from the adhesive binding
1/3″ (WIDE) RULED: Somewhere between WIDE and COLLEGE RULED (but closer to wide), the blue horizontal writing lines feature small gaps every 1/3 of an inch, which creates an invisible vertical guide on the page for assisting with drawing tables, graphs, charts and any other configuration that incorporates vertical lines
LIGHT BLUE TINTED PAPER: A subtle light blue hue on the sheets provides a soft and pleasant aesthetic backdrop
60 SHEETS PER NOTEBOOK: Or 120 pages if we’re counting both sides. Use as a 1 subject notebook or as a bound stack of loose leaf paper
